Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Zibkit handles information. The short version: we collect as little as possible, and the files you work with stay on your device.

1. Files you process

All of our tools run in your browser. When you upload an image, PDF, or other file to a tool, it is read and processed locally on your device. Your files are not uploaded to our servers, not stored by us, and not accessible to us. When you close the page, the data is released from your browser's memory.

Because processing happens on your device, your files never transit our infrastructure at all.

2. Information we collect

• Files and text you process: none. They never leave your device.
• Theme preference: your light/dark mode choice is stored in your browser's local storage, on your device. It is not sent to us.
• Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to keep the service running and secure. We do not use these logs to identify you personally.

3. Analytics

We keep analytics to an absolute minimum. If we ever measure site traffic, we use aggregated, privacy-respecting methods that do not build profiles of individual visitors.

4. Advertising

Zibkit is free, and may be supported by advertising. Advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. These partners operate under their own privacy policies, and where required you will be shown a consent choice before personalised ads are used. Advertisements are always clearly labelled and are never placed so that they could be mistaken for part of a tool.

5. Cookies

Zibkit itself does not set tracking cookies. We store only your theme preference locally. Third-party advertisers may set cookies as described above.

6. Children

Zibkit is a general-audience site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
