About this tool
Large PDFs are easier to email, upload and organise when broken into smaller pieces. The splitter gives you two simple ways to do it: one file per page, or exact page ranges.
Like every PDF tool on Zibkit, splitting runs locally in your browser, so your document is never transmitted anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
How do I write page ranges?
Use commas to separate items and a hyphen for ranges. For example “1-3, 5, 8-10” creates three files: pages 1 to 3, page 5, and pages 8 to 10.
How do I download many files at once?
When the split produces more than one file, they are bundled into a single ZIP that you can download and extract.
Does splitting change the original PDF?
No. The original file stays untouched on your device; new files are created for the parts you selected.
